So this is the blanket I made for Talisha for Christmas.                                                         
She had been saving her t-shirts from high school drumline competitions
and other random things for years, now they can last forever.
It is by far the biggest project I have done to date, and I think it came out wonderfully.

I had a meeting with the advertising guy from KFPT today
he gave me two tickets to the Fresno State game on November 11th (Saturday)

I personally hate college football but if anyone is interested in these tickets let me know.

Also there is a KFPT tailgate party that day with free food and stuff.

Each year my office does a community service project to give gifts to seniors in the community that are alone for the holiday's.

I am the chairperson this year and I think it would be great if I could get kids in the community (at schools, or Sunday schools, girl scout troops etc....) to create hand-made cards to accompany the gifts.

Would anyone be interested in participating this year?

I need gift wrappers, gift delivery elves, seniors adopted from the giving trees, and for those in regular school or Sunday school teaching jobs I would love to find out if your classes would be willing to make some holiday cards.

Talisha asked me what we are doing this weekend and I realized that I have no idea.
So, what is everyone doing for the weekend, I know fiercerose and I had discussed getting together on
Saturday night at the Caslishamica house to allow mrcrowley412 to go to sleep early for work the next AM.

So who's interested. I can guarantee booze and conversation. I can offer Buffy or a movie night of some sort.
and, there's always FLUX to be played.

I am on call this weekend. I had totally forgotten that I had agreed to do it until the regular on call person arrived at my
office yesterday to deliver the "on call stuff." The money (OT) will be awesome but now I'm kind of not in the mood to
do my job all week and then all weekend too!!!

There had been previous discussion of a potluckish type thing for Labor Day Weekend, has that been finalized? Just
let any one of Caslishamica know and we'll bring stuff! Beware, Tomica is at work today and probably won't answer.

My first day of my new job went well. Still working some of the bugs out of it. That is to be expected since it's a brand new
position, since no one has ever done it before it will be terribly difficult to know if I am doing it right. On the flip side it will be
hard to bitch at me about doing it wrong cuz how will anyone know I am doing it wrong.

Talisha is feeling miserable! I'm going to pick up her meds today so she can start to feel better!

These last few days have been hermit days for us. I appreciate everyone understanding why we haven't been hanging out
lately. Talisha is putting in long hours for her art show and I have been feeling really exhausted lately and this extra veg time
has worked wonders on my outlook. So thanks guys for understanding, we do still love you!
